Indian Army 2018 eligibility criteria

Educational Qualification: Engineering Degree in any discipline from any recognized Institution or Graduate in any discipline from any recognized University.

Nationality: Applicants should be:

1. a citizen of India, or
2. a subject of Nepal, or
3. a subject of Bhutan, or
4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will however not be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subject of Nepal.

Interested and eligible aspirants should apply online through the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 17.01.2018 to 15.02.2018 send hard copy of online application along with self-attested copies of relevant certificates, in an envelope must be superscribed in Red ink clearly indicating the name of officer with rank to the Rtg-A (WE) Section, Dte Gen of Rtg, AG’s Branch, Integrated HQ of Ministry of Defence (Army), West Block-III, RK Puram, New Delhi – 110066 on or before 31.03.2018.
